Take a look at our disability Vehicles with wheelchair access for sale.

Why buy a disability car from wheelchair cars ltd?

Our disability cars are prepared to the highest standards, without dents, scratches and rust, which can be viewed in our unit which has eight 400 watt lights shining down on our disability vehicles for sale. Or you can have delivery to your door. All vehicles get a compressive inspection, 12 months mot, a warranty and a valet fit for a valued customer.

  • We are a full time, vat registered, and limited company. Not a part time car dealer working from home.
  • We always recommend buying a specialised product from a specialised dealer and we can assure you with such an important tool for such an important job, you don’t want to get it wrong. As you visit this website you will find lots of different wheelchair adapted vehicles. We know which wheelchair conversions are good and which conversions are far from practical. A disability car can become impractical with something as simple as a ramp that is too steep. If you was to go to your local car dealer who may stock two or three wheelchair accessible vehicles, you will be making a mistake, even if the wheelchair car seems cheap and the colour is nice, it’s still a mistake, car dealers don’t know the best wheelchair adapted cars to stock because they have not had the years of experience which is associated with disabled transportation. We have a contact at Motability where we have the pick of disability cars to stock. And you guessed it! The normal car dealers buy the left overs.
  • When we say, we specialise in disability cars we mean it. The proof is in our name and all the wheelchair cars are listed on our stock page. (All photos are taken in our unit.)
  • Our unit is a freehold property on half an acre site which is owned by us, So we will still be here next week, (we are in it for the long haul).
  • Even if you are feeling a little confident and you know which wheelchair conversion you need; there is always the classified root. But the classified root can be a little unforgiving. Examples 1; we sold a part ex car two years ago with 55000 miles on the clock, it then appeared on a large national website not too long ago with 80,000 miles on the clock (private sale). Strangely enough it then appeared on another website 4 weeks later with 34000 miles on the clock (car dealer working from home). Wheelchair cars ltd will not tamper with mileages. We give guarantees. Example 2; we sold a wheelchair access vw sharan with an automotive conversion last year, delivered to the customer’s door after a cambelt service, valeted, 12 months mot, the car was good value at 8500 pounds, the car is now listed in the classifieds for 9000 pounds. How can a car be worth more 12 months later? Maybe the chap selling the vw sharan now is valuing the car as a brotherwood conversion, which this is not. We sell disabled cars at their true value which is dependent on age, mileage, condition and who converted the car. Example 3; There is a wheelchair accessible vw caddy on e-bay at the moment, some of the advert reads; Passenger airbag, Side airbags, Radio/CD, VIC pass, Rear headrests, Traction control, Alarm, at first glance this is a normal kind of advert yes? No it’s not! If you ask the owner, what is a vic pass? We did, the reply we got was, “it has had a road worthiness check and it passed”, when really vic stands for vehicle identity check and a car only needs this when it has been a category C write off.
